RHEC-CCC Competition Preparation Class
The Canadian Computing Contest (CCC) is an annual computer programming competition for high school students in Canada. The purpose of the competition is to provide an opportunity for high school students to test their ability to analyze, design and program algorithms.
The University of Waterloo is highly recognized in North America and has the most mathematical and computer talents in the world; participation in CCC competitions is very competitive for applications to computer-related majors at Waterloo, including applications to prestigious universities in Canada or the U.S., all of which are highly prestigious. In the process of learning computer competition, it is also very beneficial for children to exercise logical thinking, and also combined with the knowledge of mathematics and physics, the integration is very beneficial.
CCC is divided into two difficulty levels, a Junior group for students with basic programming skills and a Senior group for students with intermediate to advanced programming skills.
The CCC competition consists of 5 questions, increasing in difficulty from 1 to 5 at a time, with 15 points per question and a total of 75 points for a three-hour answer time. Competition questions usually involve mathematics, programming, and algorithm analysis and design, and students need to have creative problem-solving skills and excellent programming skills.
