The Canadian Computing Competition (CCC) is an annual computer programming competition held in Canada for secondary school students around the world to test their ability to analyze, design and program algorithms. Its status is equivalent to that of the Information Technology Olympiad in China.<\/p>\n
The University of Waterloo’s CCC competition, held each February, is organized by the Centre for Mathematics and Computer Education (CEMC) at the University of Waterloo, the world’s largest mathematics school.<\/p>\n
The CCC competition has two levels, beginner and advanced, with different levels and different levels of difficulty. Each level consists of five questions of increasing difficulty from one to five, with 15 points per question and a total score of 75 points, and 3 hours of answer time. The questions usually involve mathematics, programming, algorithm analysis and design, and participants need to have creative problem-solving skills as well as excellent programming skills.<\/p>\n
In general, the beginner category is for any student with basic programming skills; the advanced category is for any student with intermediate to advanced programming skills. Participating students can choose the level that suits them according to their ability<\/p>\n
